Join us at Wild Bull Flower Farm for a hands-on class dedicated to one of our favorite flowers—the dahlia!
We’ll walk through the entire dahlia-growing process, from planting your first tuber in the spring to digging and storing your tubers in the fall. You’ll learn our favorite growing tips, how to care for dahlias throughout the season, when and how to dig them, proper winter storage, and how to divide your tuber clumps to multiply your collection year after year.
Then we’ll head into the field and get our hands dirty! Each participant will dig up one dahlia variety and learn how to properly clean, identify the eyes, and divide the clump into individual viable tubers.
Best of all, you’ll take home the tubers you divide from your plant to grow in your own garden next season!
